Paper from Across the Sea

We are pleased to announce a new cultural exchange between the fine art printmakers of FDPW and the Japanese paper makers of Mino City.

The project sees two cultures come together through a mutual appreciation of expert craftsmanship, in an exchange of contemporary art prints made with traditional artisanal paper from one of the last remaining major paper areas in Japan.

Over the coming months, there will be several exhibitions throughout Scotland and Japan to showcase the work our members have created using this amazing paper.

We are pleased to announce that the first exhibition will be held at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop from the 20th of November 2017.  Everyone is welcome, why not come and see what our members have been able to do with this fantastic artisanal Japanese paper.
